Hey, I’m Laura. A Few Things You May Not Know About Me
Hey 👋 I’m Laura Foster.
I’m a breathwork facilitator, retreat leader, serial entrepreneur, retired chiropractor, wife, mom and woman who has never been particularly good at accepting something simply because everyone else does.
And I’m a whole lot more than my jaw surgery, my 25-year chiropractic career, or my die-hard belief that you can indeed heal yourself.
So, here are a few things about me that have very little to do with professional credentials.
5 Things You May Already Know About Me
1. I run an insanely awesome online breathwork membership.
It’s called Breathe Into Being, and it’s filled with a bunch of humans who are squeezing the juice from the lemon.
2. I’m married with a blended family of four 20-something “kids”.
They inspire me daily.
3. We ticked off the government, took a three-year hiatus from Canada and lived abroad.
And we’ll never need to say, “It’s so romantic to live in another country.” We’ve done it.
4. I will question everything. Everything.
I always have. I was skeptical of the 9/11 narrative before it was trending. I actually don’t need anyone to agree with me. I think owning your own opinion is still a cause worth fighting for.
5. I love dogs.
Not like “they’re so cute.” More like “where have you been all my life?”
5 Things You May Not Know About Me
1. I love people so damn much and work hard to stay away from most of them.
Such is the life of an introverted Taurus who’s in her sixth decade of life.
2. A perfect moment is hanging with all our kids around our dinner table.
3. If I’m not exerting myself in a gym, up a mountain or on a mat seven times per week, I probably don’t feel like myself.
4. I want to live everywhere I travel.
And I will try to convince Paul that we should consider buying a vacation property there. I still do this, but I know better.
5. I am a serial entrepreneur.
It’s in my blood. I see opportunity absolutely everywhere and am always doing the math behind the scenes.
There you have it. A little more about me, beyond the things I do for work.
For those who know me, did I miss anything?
