Many of us try to ignore the wild call of our soul. Just put on your mask and move through life with all the polite smiles and niceties. It’s possible, but it’s not sustainable.
Most women go through life feeling disconnected from both who they are and why they’re here. It’s no secret that society, the media, your industry, your community, and, yep, even your loved ones have imprinted ideas about who you need to be or how you need to behave…
“You’re not a real feminist without a rocking career!”
“Motherhood is virtuous… it’s literally the most feminine thing you can do.”
“How dare you be sultry or sexy? They’ll think you’re easy.”
“Don’t be such a frigid b*tch!”
Ultimately, the world has flattened the idea of the feminine.
Society is off-kilter and skewed toward the masculine. Fully embodying your inner strength as a divine feminine firestarter is not about fighting, struggling, or muscling your way through the world.
Those are more masculine principles, and they do have their place. After all, you hold both the feminine and masculine within you. To be clear, this isn’t about men versus women… There are plenty of women who embrace and build up patriarchal practices. And many men who revere the divine feminine.
As a Spirited Seeker, it’s likely that you’ve leaned into the masculine as a way to succeed and move forward through life.

1 – Reflect
When you ask yourself a question, you open a portal to your own answers.
Your Truth is the Magical Message that is Meant for You and the World
As a Sovereign Divine Feminine force of nature, you’re able to tap into the subtle energetic and spiritual connection between all living things. Honing your intuition gives you the ability to dissolve your blindspots and see things as they really are, which is a core component of self-mastery.
One of the most effective ways to tap into your intuition is to ask yourself core questions and be honest AF with yourself about the answer. Without holding back or without any filter. These questions might seem too simple, but asking yourself (instead of anyone else) for the answer is what makes all the difference.
Tap into your truth with this transformative daily practice:
The time when you first wake up is uncharted territory. It’s the moment before you’ve put on all the self-definitions and your soul has a special ability to reveal her truths to you.
1 – Upon waking, grab your journal and your favorite writing implement.
2 – Set a timer for 10 minutes and let your subconscious run wild on the page.
3 – Don’t filter yourself. Don’t go back and edit. It’s important to keep your hand moving.
4 – Let yourself be wild, raw, and vulnerable — because this is for you and you alone. This is also your time to ask yourself any sticky questions that are lingering for you… the things you’ve been asking others for advice about.
You can pick one of these prompts to get you going:
“What did I come here for?”
“What areas of my life don’t feel truthful + aligned with who I am?”
“ I don’t care what anybody says, I am ready to …”
5 – Wherever possible, breathe into your heart and write the answers from your heart-space instead of your mental space.
6 – When the timer dings, close your intuition-enhancing journaling exercise with a few deep, grounding breaths.
7 – Resolve to honour your own answers today.

2 – Reveal
A boundary is not a wall, it’s a door
with a sign that says “Here’s who the F I am, friend!”
A boundary is a door and you get to say when the door is open or closed.
Boundaries don’t have to be impenetrable walls. This thought actually makes it easier to set strong boundaries in the first place.
As a Spirited Seeker, you’re used to putting others’ needs before your own, getting involved, giving advice, and making sure everyone’s okay at all times.
Especially if those people are your children 
But the key to healthy, sustainable boundaries is to allow everyone else to be who they are without feeling like you need to change them. Because, how do you feel when you’re wrapped up in other people’s drama?
Best Guess: burnt out, tired AF, resentful, stressed to the max, and probably angry at everyone.
So put the focus back on you.
If people try to scoop you up into their drama, or place misaligned judgements on you, remind yourself:
“What other people think about me is none of my business.” If someone has a problem with your boundaries it’s because they would prefer to have a one-sided relationship.
But why would you ever want to give your power away to somebody who has no clue who you are and why you’re here?
The reason that strong boundaries are vital to your Sovereignty is that boundaries really reflect your sense of self. They draw the life you want towards you, because the best form of calling in more alignment is not about what you’re doing — it’s about who you’re being.
Boundary Setting Exercise:
Affirm your core values and REFUSE to violate them
Now that you’ve built up a journaling practice to awaken your intuition, let’s turn the focus onto your personal core values. Set aside some time to get crystal clear about what you value most in this world.
Take out your journal for a free-writing session. This time, journal around the idea of: “What are the values that define who I am at the core of my being?”
Don’t think too hard before you write down your answers:
- What part of my life makes me feel the most inspired?
- What am I willing to die for?
- What do I need to have in my life to make my life worth living?
- Finish this sentence: “I will give it all up as long as I have _____, _____, and _____?
- What do I value more than money?
- Then take out a big piece of paper and a marker (to make this declaration BOLD)!
On the paper, write your core values down like it’s a manifesto.
And Voila! You now have a tool to assess how much you’d like to open or close your boundary door. As you go about your week, notice when you’re introduced to information, a situation, a relationship in which you’re being asked to violate your core values.
STOP, DROP IN, AND ASK YOURSELF: Does this align with my values?
Because things are so polarized right now, it’s likely you’re going to find people who disagree with your honest opinion. But that doesn’t mean you have to fight with anybody. Instead you can actively choose to align with your core values in any moment of disagreement. In fact, such moments pose an opportunity for you to affirm you core values even more deeply.
So instead of choosing to “fight” — choose to align.
- Align with your values. Align with your truth. And watch your path emerge before you.
- Call in your soul self to support you and help you stay firm in your values as you navigate the challenge.
- Remember: it’s okay to say NO. It’s okay to disagree. Think communication rather than conflict.
- It’s not your job to get people to agree with you. Your goal is to calmly and succinctly communicate your needs and boundaries.
Being raw, real, honest, and authentic will ultimately calm your nervous system. It’ll take the stress out of your shoulders and let stuck air out of your lungs. Because all of the energy you put into holding up the facade of perfection can melt away. It’s so much less stressful to live bravely. Your truth will literally set you free. It’s your way to unlearn all the messages society has taught us about what it means to be in our feminine.
As you practice, you’ll become aware of when you’re betraying your own values. You’ll know when you’re leaking energy and be able to draw your energy back into yourself. Speaking your truth will become easier, because you’ll be exceptionally clear around what your truth is. And that, my friend, is magnetic. It draws in the opportunities, the experiences, and the abundance that you are here for. It also draws your perfect people to you.
Which brings us to… the next step in this process toward Divine Feminine Sovereignty.
3 – Connect

When I ask people what they think, they tell me what’s on their mind. When I ask what they feel, they tell me the truth of their lives.
I became known as the chiropractor who heard the unspoken messages between the words. Even if we started talking about the weather somehow I’d drop potent gems of truth that cut to the heart of the matter.
These experiences became the seeds of what is now a full-time coaching career.
The goal of Soul Inspired Gurl is to co-create the future in community with badass women.
It’s my soul mission to help women like empower yourself to move beyond the limitations standing in your way and reclaim your voice, truth, power and path.
So that you’re able to build a life that is a reflection of your core values.
In that way, everything that is for you — from people to places to opportunities — flow to you.
Throughout my life, I achieved “success” by learning into my masculine tendencies and shutting down my feminine energy. At work and home, I viewed the world through my masculine lens of striving, grinding, and pushing myself towards achievement.
I thought that I had to lean into my masculine tendencies and shut off my feminine energy to succeed. At work and at home, I viewed the world through an analytical, ambitious and assertive lens.
From the outside, my life “checked all the boxes.” I had a great career as a chiropractor. I was married with 2 kids I adored. My life was so full and more than anything I could’ve imagined for myself. But underneath it all, something was missing.
In the process of building a ‘successful life’ I completely overlooked my relationship to myself.
This led to a deep period of soul-searching and honest reflection. I found the courage to redefine and align my life on my terms. I discovered and explored my innate spiritual gifts.
I gave space for my feminine superpowers to blossom.
Ultimately, I decided to marry my passions and build a life around the things that really light me up.
Now, I live in Kelowna, BC with my life partner, our blended family of 6 and our simple, passionate life.
Through a culmination of my training, inner wisdom, spiritual practices, experiences and personal journey to date, I offer personal leadership coaching for women, group mentorship, ROOTS + The Sisterhood (my signature program that kicks serious cosmic ass) and a bevvy of in-person experiences and retreats.
I know in my bones that women all over the globe are ready to awaken their intuition, own their gifts and claim their soul-aligned path.
With my soulful offerings, you don’t have to do it alone. This work is all about connecting, growing, and linking arms with fellow kindred spirits walking the path alongside you. We lift each other up, and together we rise.
The empowering work of Self-Sovereignty is up to you, of course. But it becomes easier, more fun, and even more empowering when you have someone ready to stand with you, elbow to elbow, and lead the way.
