Here’s what I believe almost every one of my clients need to hear: You’re going to have to find a way being okay with disappointing others if you want to live the life that’s waiting for you. 🎤
The uncomfortable truth is that you can’t have it all.
You can’t go forward in life 𝕥𝕣𝕪𝕚𝕟𝕘 to please your mom, your daughter, your employer and the hoards of people you believe are hanging on your every move and curate the life that is so uniquely and perfectly you.
Does that sound harsh to you? 🤔 ▶️ maybe …
I think it sounds freeing 🔥
If you let go of your 𝕔𝕠𝕟𝕔𝕖𝕣𝕟 around disappointing others and you allowed yourself the freedom to open up the possibilities of your life, how much more peace, ease and grounding would you feel?
The answer I almost always receive from the women I work with is less about words and more about a look of relief.
They exhale.
Their shoulders drop.
There is a palpable energy of release.
You were never meant to carry the weight of the spoken and unspoken expectations of others.
It’s not your job to carry that and often times it’s our deep visceral awareness of this that changes everything.
