About Your Hosts

Dr. Laura Foster has been an inspired Chiropractor for 20+ years and along the way she has coached and led retreats, workshops and group gatherings that have allowed her to tap into her gift of helping others find their truth and greatest sense of self.

Laura believe that our soul work is our greatest work and also our most rewarding. It’s where joy, passion and inspiration reside and when we take the time to create the space and opportunity to connect with that part of ourselves, we become grounded in who we are. Her retreats have been described by past participants as being “lighthearted, fun and an incredibly powerful way to discover our deepest truths. Her retreats are always a beautifully curated experience that couldn’t help but inspire you.”

Laura has many passions with a multitude of interests, but all of them include connection, laughter and great food – and her retreats are no exception. Currently Laura has two upcoming 2019 multi-day retreats that are being co-facilitated by David Good.

David believes yoga is a way to discover your hidden potential and find the truth of who you are, on and off the mat.

David discovered yoga in his twenties in Vancouver. What began as an on-again-off-again relationship eventually grew into a life’s practice.  After many years of practicing with a stiffer body, David discovered the balance between flexibility and strength and how you need both.
His passion grew to marry the two into a practice that celebrates all the different bodies that showed up to practice.
David’s classes range in intensity and focus, from vigorous sequencing to supportive restorative work.  Offering rich alignment cues and heartfelt humour, David aims to create an inclusive environment that nurtures the soul and leaves students feeling like they’ve learned something about their bodies in the process.

Frequently Asked Questions

We welcome all beginner yogis and no experience is necessary.

Please let us know upon booking – we are able to accommodate vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and most food sensitivities.

If you are a single registrant – awesome! We have found that over 50% of the individuals who sign up for our retreats are coming alone so do not worry if this is something you’ve never done before. We may arrive solo, but we will move throughout the week as a mini-tribe of beautiful souls. Many of the people you meet during this weekend will likely become life-long friends.

To be completely wowed and leave feeling like you’ve given yourself the biggest gift ever. That’s a bold statement – we know, but after hosting many retreats in various settings we are accustomed to the magic that happens in a retreat.

Retreats are inherently different than vacations. On the surface it may look a lot like an all-inclusive style vacation, but once you arrive you’ll start to settle into the glorious routine of taking space and time to unroll your yoga mat, breathe deep, expand outwards and enjoy the process that unfolds. The workshops and classes are like icing on a soulful adventure.

Bring your open heart and sense of fun and you’ll be sure to have an incredible time (and if you feel inspired to truly unplug – be prepared to set down your technology while you are here).

Retreats are non-refundable unless the retreat does not run. If you decide you do not want to attend and we are able to find a participant to fill your space we will refund all monies less a $50 administration fee.
